The harbin ice and snow festival consists on many 

sculptures competitions on ice, open on dec 24-25

and usually finish with a celebration on january 5 th

                    

            The world of ice is other main exhibition area located

     in Zhaolin park, and it is a must-see event for this

           enchanting ice festival. The park is an area with structures

         made of blocks of ice taken directly from the nearby

 Songhua river that runs through the city

                                        at night, the park's sculptures are iluminated,

creating a magical atmosphere that mesmerizes

million tourists each year they hold their
